Practical ideas

  • Start a social group that meets a need within your community, for example, a Men’s Shed, a playgroup, a regular movie night, or a ‘Soup group’ for the lonely. It could be seasonal, weekly or run on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Invite people who are isolating at home or housebound to join an online group, for example, Hope Book Club

  • Visit parishioners and send cards/emails to show care or mark milestones.
